Your Free Dental Implant Consultation

The first step in receiving an implant is your consultation. Our dentists provide free implant consultations to help you get started. During this consultation, we will provide you with a complete examination of your mouth and supporting oral structures. We will discuss your current oral health, medical and dental history, and your smile goals with you. Our dentists will also take any digital imaging necessary to gain a full understanding of your teeth, jaw and supporting structures.

After we have completed our exam and discussion with you, we will provide you with our proposed treatment plan. Dr. Marshall and Dr. Tooke will make sure that you have a full understanding of your oral health and all available treatment options so that you can make the best decision for yourself.

Dental Implant Procedure

If implants are the right treatment for you, our dentists will begin the process of placing your implants with a 3D cone beam scan. This scan maps your mouth so that we can plan out the entire procedure. It will also show us if you need a bone grafting procedure prior to your implant placement. If you do require a bone graft or another procedure to enhance the jawbone, we will schedule and perform that treatment prior to placing your implant.

Prior to placing your implant, we will take impressions of your teeth to ensure that your new teeth fit your smile perfectly. When you arrive for your implant placement procedure, we will administer an anesthetic and any sedation options that you may be receiving. Our goal is to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible. After you are feeling comfortable, we will perform any necessary tooth extractions and surgically insert your implant posts into the jawbone. A period of healing will then be allowed to ensure that the implant post integrates correctly with your supporting jawbone.

After this healing period, our dentists will place your implant restorations atop the post to complete your treatment and restore your smile. Depending on your individual needs and the number of teeth being replaced, the restoration may be a crown, bridge or denture.

Follow-Up and Maintenance for Implants

Implants are designed to permanently replace your teeth and will last for a lifetime if properly cared for. Implants require the same care as your natural teeth — daily brushing and flossing and regular visits to our office for preventive care and other necessary treatments.

Dental Implant Cost

The cost of your treatment will depend on how many implants you are receiving and whether or not you require any other treatments prior to your implant placement procedure. Generally speaking, each implant and abutment will cost somewhere between $1,800 and $3,000. Additional procedures will add to the base fee of each implant. Please remember that if you receive a quote for a dental implant that seems too good to be true, it probably is. Cheap and faulty dental implants can cause significant problems for your oral health, and we strongly encourage you to seek out treatments that are high-quality and performed by experienced dental professionals.

Our dentists and team will provide you with a cost estimate after your initial consultation. We will also review your financial options with you. Our office offers several financial options to work with your budget. Please contact us for details. We also encourage you to check with your health and dental insurance providers to determine if they can offer any coverage for your procedure.
